PROPEL stands for Parents Requiring Our Public Education system to Lead. Our children are brilliant and deserving of a world-class education. Our current public education system has failed generations of Black and Brown families so it’s up to us to change it. We are educating and equipping parents with the knowledge and tools to demand radical systemic change.
CHOICE
The majority of the families we serve don’t get to choose their zip code but expect excellent schools like affluent neighborhoods. And if they’re not excellent, we demand the freedom to choose where and how our children are educated.
ACCESS
Our children deserve to have access to equitable resources and opportunities- whether it’s the best principals, the best teachers, technology or beautiful playgrounds.
QUALITY
We expect our children to go to college, have rewarding careers and America’s promise. That means they need to be college ready no matter what.
